DEFINE:What Are Moles

The center of a dyplastic mole may be raised and darker than the surrounding tissue. Some doctors believe that these moles have an increased risk of turning into melanoma. The Dyplastic mole can be hereditary and families having a history of them or of Melanoma should be checked regularly and do monthly self-examinations.

The Causes Of Moles
There are many different causes of moles and where they come from. A mole may be present at birth, or slowly develop over time. The big one, "Sun exposure" aids in the development of moles, but mainly atypical. Heredity also is a big part in the growth of moles and the types an individual may have.
